Built a little dashboard this week to keep track of crypto holdings and mining income. Nothing serious. It was fun to make.
The repository name says trading. It does not trade.
It only reads
No keys, no signing, no buttons that do anything. It shows balances, logs mining payouts, tracks purchases, and exports a CSV at tax time.
Skipping the ability to act is what makes it a weekend project instead of something I have to worry about. Nothing it can leak is worse than a list of addresses, and those are public already.
Two small things I liked
When a payout arrives, it records what that was worth at the time and never recalculates it. Recomputing old income at today's price does not update your books, it ruins them.
And wrapped or bridged coins stay on their own line. They track the price of the real thing without being the real thing, so adding them together gives you a tidy number that is quietly wrong.
That is it
Runs on SQLite, points at Postgres if you give it a connection string. Not advice, not a product, not for sale.
Just a fun one.
